Our goal is to ride together as a group at a steady, safe pace. This is a B- ride, expect to average around 14 mph. Join in to take turns pulling, set the right pace for the group. Climb/descend hills at your own speed. Re-group at top of hills. Rain, wet roads, high winds, excess heat will cancel ride - posted by 7:00am. RIDE TOGETHER+WORK TOGETHER = SAFE ENJOYABLE RIDE
We haven’t climbed Blackhorse a while so let’s go north. As always, everyone‘s job to keep the group together to stay safe, make it easier for cars to pass, and minimize regrouping. We’ll likely come in at the mid/upper range of the pace (depending on conditions), but we‘ll always keep everyone together and having fun as a priority. Bad jokes are welcome. Ride leaves from Stroud at 9 AM. I leave remotely so don‘t worry if I‘m not there earlier than 9 AM. No bathrooms at Stroud. XO
Bad weather/road conditions will cancel by 7 AM.
9:00 AM Start
Riding at a moderate, comfortable social pace.
NOTE: 9:30 START. Have fun and ride safe, enjoying our gorgeous Chester County scenery... and sometimes a few hills. Targeting 15+mph depending on weather and road conditions (<15 mph during early season riding). We roll as a group but break into smaller clusters on busy roads. Ascents/descents at your own pace, regrouping as needed. Rotate leading at the front, or stay back if you don‘t want to pull the line. We‘re Easy!!
